My Story

I was born and raised in the Marshall County Area. I am a 2005 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2009 Cum Laude graduate of Murray State University with a major in advertising and a minor in photography. I met my husband at church camp in 2009 and we were married in August 2011. We were foster parents starting in 2016 for roughly 3 years. In 2018 we started the process to find a birth mother and adopt. In August 2019 we were matched with our amazing birth mother, who gave birth to our little girl in September 2019. Just before her first birthday we found out we were expecting our little boy, who was born in May 2021. Through many tests we found out our little boy is deaf. He has been fit with cochlear implants and we, as a family, are working to learn ASL together.

Photography has always been a love and passion of mine. Whether it's pictures of people or something more abstract and artistic. I would love the opportunity to capture those special moments for you that will last a lifetime.
